Magical! So quiet. Large spots, plenty of privacy. No one was ever down at the beach. We stayed 9 days! Showers were spotless clean, water was hot. Immaculate campground! My favorite in Florida.

Remote, quiet, just what the doctor ordered. Large campsites, clean bath house, friendly and helpful staff. 5 outta 5!

The road coming into the camp ground is not paved and is very rough. Not recommended for Motor coaches....but the grounds are very nice

The campground was great! Our site (8) was right next to the bathroom, which was great for my children. We enjoyed the sunset at the lake and swam most of our time there. There are great trails for hiking with your kids, too! Can’t wait to go again!

When we arrived, we found that the site we had booked was occupied by other people. The campground host was friendly but unhelpful. He told us he couldn’t locate those people and that it wasn’t his responsibility to make sure everyone stayed at their reserved campsite. In the end, we had to leave and find alternative, more expensive accommodation. We requested a refund, but recreation.gov is unwilling to process it in a way that works for us. So we ended up paying $38 for a site we couldn’t stay at, which caused us a lot of trouble during our vacation.

The only reason I don’t give this campground 5 stars it’s because of the 2 mile unimproved road to reach the campground and that there’s no dump station on site, otherwise it would be a 5, magnificent views and the Lake with a beach is great.
