What Guests Are Saying
Burns Lake Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment, ideal for nature enthusiasts seeking tranquility and dark skies for stargazing. The campground features spacious, primitive tent sites with lovely views of the lake and access to wildlife and hiking trails. While some visitors noted minor issues, such as noise from nearby campers and basic facilities, the friendly camp host and overall serene atmosphere contribute to a positive camping experience.

Noisy generators ruined the experience. Please reduce their hours of operation or ban them.

Someone took out campsite. 14, which is the best one there for tents and cars. The host was kind enough to get us a different spot but site check ups need to be a bit more thorough. The camp host was great in dealing with the situation

We stayed here to visit Big Cypress Preserve and the Everglades. It is a small campground with no amenities surrounding a small lake. The hosts were very nice. It was easy to find and easy to get into the pull thru sites with our 32 ft RV towing a Jeep.

I was thankful to have a campsite, but I would go to Monument Lake campground if I could. Burns does not have internet, showers, water, dump station etc…..
Like that it’s close to Marco Island. Liked the Big Cypress Swamp visitor center.

Pretty camp ground in the Everglades, where we dry camped. No wifi, nor much around. Peaceful and quiet.
