This campground has some of the best stargazing in Florida. It’s in Big Cypress Preserve, which is fascinating and amazing in itself, but it’s close to Everglades National Park too.

Midway is a wonderful campground. The staff is very courteous and the bathrooms were always clean.
The campground was well taken care of and the mowing and trim was excellent.
There's lots of great walks nearby and the visitor center is nearby as well.

We love Midway campground! It is very peaceful and the campers there all seem so friendly. Close to Clyde Butcher Gallery, and great places to go biking.

This was my first stay at a campground. It was very relaxing an peaceful. I was treated very well by the staff and fellow camper. I stayed for 3 nights an all I wanted to do was just relax which I did. Nights were nice an quiet. I love the night sky an stars althought you can still see the effects of light pollution. Next time I am going to bring more goodies with me, food taste so much better in the out doors. Very little internet reception at this camp so bring some nice relaxing music, videos or some kind of work out rutine. You have nothing but time on your hands so just relax an forget about your problems.

It would have been nice to have water at the campsite we stayed in instead of needing to fill our fresh water holding tank before we parked our 5th wheel. I didn't see that on the website.

Nice, pleasant place in a neighborhood teeming with wildlife. Flooding is a problem when it rains.

Great location, friendly hosts. Must see Shark Valley for alligators and birds. Close enough to Everglades City for restaurants and park boat tour. Great spot!
