Midway Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment with clean facilities and friendly hosts, making it an ideal stop for exploring the Everglades and Big Cypress areas. Campers appreciate the privacy of the spacious sites, easy access to hiking trails, and the campground's cleanliness. However, there are some limitations, including a lack of showers and minimal cell service, as well as a need for better signage to ensure safety and compliance with campground rules.

A very nice dark sky park. We picked a good night for star gazing. Nice spacing on the sites. The site we had (1) didn’t have a water hook up but luckily we filled our tank before we arrived. Clean restrooms but no showers. Bring all your supplies and firewood as there’s no camp store.

Well maintained campground. Had a great stay. Only thing I would add is to post a sign for campers to cross the highway to see alligators, many were in the slew across the road.

As far as we could tell there are no showers at this campground. Also be aware that the amount of water in the Everglades causes a great deal of morning dew. Had a wonderful time, an excellent campground for people who are happy with somewhat primitive camping. No wood or ice available had to go to the skunk ape campground and store to purchase

This was our first time at this campground. The site we had reserved was perfect and we plan to stay there another time.
We never saw the campground host which we thought was unusual.
