What Guests Are Saying
Midway Campground offers a peaceful and well-maintained environment with clean facilities and friendly hosts, making it an ideal stop for exploring the Everglades and Big Cypress areas. Campers appreciate the privacy of the spacious sites, easy access to hiking trails, and the campground's cleanliness. However, there are some limitations, including a lack of showers and minimal cell service, as well as a need for better signage to ensure safety and compliance with campground rules.

It’s a very nice campground in the middle of nowhere. The units are paved and levelled. It’s perfect for one night stay if you visit the mangroves around or if you travel from coast to coast.

Site 15 was great. I really enjoyed staying at Midway Campground. I visited Shark Valley, the loop and the Oasis Visitors Center. I loved that the my site had electric. 👍

Lots of wildlife around pond, neat trails, RV sites had power and the dump station had potable and non potable water. Nice loop around pond to bike too.

Nice paved sites, fairly level. West (entry) side of loop were full sun, east (exit) side of loop were mostly shaded. No issues with the electric service. Reminder there is no water at individual sites. Didn’t use dump station but one is available here.
