Quiet and peaceful. Clean campsite and very nice hosts. Many sites are open for good solar. Convenient for exploring the Big Cypress Preserve.

Monument campground was beautiful… sites are lovely. We had site three which is nice and private. The only drawback is you can definitely hear road noise, but it was really quiet most of the night.

I loved this campground! Every spot has a view of the lake. I had excellent internet. I made friends with the other campers, and there sere lots of alligators and birds. And a sky at night splattered with stars. All in all, a totally chill experience. I made a video, if you want to see images... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iN4R99zIQcE&t=5s

Great place for peace and quiet. Just you and nature. Good cell service. Nice bathhouse. No electricity. You can use the dump and fill station up the road at Midway Campground since it’s the same National park

I've stayed here a few times. It's a great, peaceful little campground. It makes a good launching off point to explore Big Cypress. Definitely go to the Oasis Visitor Center and walk along the boardwalk. For a more immersive Big Cypress experience, do the swamp walk on the Gator Hook trail down the road. The water is knee deep in some places, so be prepared to get wet!

Large sites with fire pits. Beautiful sunsets and great star gazing. Fished in the lake. Restroom with large shower. Pit toilets super clean. Loved bike riding the trail through Shark Valley, and driving the Loop. Great food and entertainment at HavAnnA Cafe in Chokoloskee. January was good time to be there, but still some bugs.

Gorgeous sunrises and sunsets on the lake. Clean bathroom, cell tower, quiet park and dark at night to witness the stars. Sites come in a variety of sizes. Hosts are great!
