Shell Creek Campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, beautiful scenery, and friendly hosts, making it a great place for relaxation and outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful and secluded atmosphere, with ample space and stunning views by the creek. Very happy with the campground and very friendly/helpful hosts. Campground was clean and beautiful. Website description was perfectly accurate.

I was however disappointed that so many trails were closed as we drove 1000 miles to Wyoming with the sole purpose of ATVing in the Bighorn Mountains.

Not sure how we could have found out ahead of time that the trails were closed.

This is the sixth year in a row that we have camped the third week of June at Shell Creek. The fishing is good, the wildflowers are magnificent, and the scenery is breathtaking. The campground is small and quiet, because it's away from the highway. We plan to go back next June.

Absolutely gorgeous area. Site was clean and close to the water. Bathrooms clean.
No firewood for purchase that I could see and none laying around but with the weather beautiful I didn’t care to build a fire anyway. Love Wyoming
