Beautiful canal front site. On the small side, but nice

Everyone was very helpful. I had to change my reservations a couple of times and everyone helped me through the process. I enjoyed the hiking trails and the general friendliness of the staff volunteers.

We loved this place ...good price, plus water/electricity and shower. The staff is excellent. just a little bit far from supplies Uber is cheap. Could go on your bike but i was to chicken to do it...busy road to bike on.

I love this campground. But the Donald Trump 2024 campaign flag flying high within my sight ruined every day.
I thought political campaign materials were banned from federal property! I complained about the flag, but it was still waving high when I left. 🤮

Big sites, friendly staff, love watching the boats go thru the locks

Great place to stop and have a brake. Well maintained and friendly staff and fellow boaters.

The 9 campsites are in good condition. However several improvements to be completed to improve or bring the campgrounds up to the private campground standards. First and foremost the restrooms need to be remodeled to appear fresh, clean and up to date. They are dingy and in need of face lifts.

I love the campground and would have given it 5 stars, EXCEPT for the giant Donald Trump flag flying over the campground. I was amazed, offended and appalled!!
I did not think political signage like this was allowed on federal land.
It was so large and high that it looks like the campground flag. When I saw it was flown from a private individual's camper I called the hosts to ask them to have it taken down, I also asked the volunteer at the visitor's center to report it to the park ranger. But, sure enough, it was flying high the next day.
If I could attach something to this I will show you the video, if I post it on line I will let you know.
It actually ruined the end of my stay.

Beautiful tent sites on the canal edge. Quiet campground. Clean bathhouse. Very friendly staff.
