Overall a great location.
As with most pull throughs on the lake, the exit from the site was uphill. But not too bad.
Neighbors music with too much bass the first night was annoying, but they didn’t repeat it.
Poison ivy on the path to the lake and on trees edging the lake was kind of disappointing.
Water and electric were fine. Good pressure on water.

Our experience at Sweetwater Campground was wonderful. When we arrived we found that our site was large enough we just couldn't get into it the way we were supposed to, we were backwards. After looking around the next morning we found a site just over the ridge we could get into easily after talking to the wonderful people at the gate he along with the ranger made arrangements for us to be able to move. The site ended up being exactly what we needed. The rangers and hosts were great to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay.
