Our family camping trip to DeSoto Falls was the absolute best camping trip we have ever had! The camp hosts are so very kind and keep the place looking great. The hiking trails to the upper and lower falls are very convenient to the camping sites. My family enjoyed hiking, fishing, and playing in the creek. We had no issues during our entire week long trip! We are taking another trip next month and are already so excited!

We really enjoyed the campground overall. The hikes to the waterfalls were the perfect length for kids and the grounds were clean and well-maintained. My only complaint is that there was a lot of road noise during the night as our campsite (#5) was set right along the road. I would suggest trying to book at one of the sites in the back of the campground (#14-23) to avoid the road noise.

Really enjoyed my time ad DeSoto Falls and it totally met my expectations. It's a no-frills campsite with shared water and only a pit toilet on the upper loop. The lower loop does have flushing toilets with sink and outdoor shower but no hot water that I could tell. I didn't feel crowed in the campsite and I felt there was enough room between sites, but it was open and I could very easily see fellow campers without obstructions. The trees provided ample shade which would be most welcome in the summer months. Trails to both waterfalls were well maintained and provided an enjoyable hike. I didn't have cell service with Verizon.

Enjoyed our visit to Desota Falls. This is one of my favorite places to camp. Hike to both falls was nice. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. I had trouble operating the shower they helped but shower needs some repair to turn on and off.

The camp area was clean and beautiful. However, the site is nestled in a valley beside the main highway which means almost constant traffic noise.

Couldn't ask for a better weekend for a camping trip. Campsite was clean and ready to go. The campground is well maintained and watched over. If I have to find any fault in the place, it would have to be that the bathroom lights no longer work. Probably just need the batteries replaced.
