All was fantastic. Only comment is maybe keep the heaters on in the winter. They were on motion I guess and only kicked on after you walked in. Not very good for having a usable washroom. We pay money for that. Other locations have the heater running in the winter. Thats all. Thanks

Doll Mountain is one of the most beautiful campgrounds on one of the most beautiful lakes in north Georgia. We love going to this campground. Cheap price and lots of space on each site. Every site in Doll Mountain campground has a beautiful view.

Doll Mountain was the only Corps of Engineers campground open during December on Carters Lake. Only one loop was open, but that seemed to be plenty for the amount of campers there. The sites were well-spaced, with concrete-paved areas providing for clean camping, but most also had a tent pad as well. There was a brand-new bathhouse had three private individual, heated rooms with shower, toilet, and sink. These were very nice and clean. Because it was winter time there were clear views of the lake. The host was very knowledgeable and helpful. This campground was close driving distance to several mountain biking/hiking areas. We visited the trails at Talking Rock Nature Preserve which were well-maintained with experience levels from easy to challenging. Cartersville is an easy drive away and offer three top-rated museums to visit: the Booth Museum of Western Art, Savoy Automobile Museum, and Tellus Science Museum. We will be coming back here!

I loved it at Doll Mountain. Reliable utilities, clean, quiet, beautiful. However, drive in blind curves limits size of RV that will comfortably get there, could use sewer, and was told all OTA channels are available. OTA channels were weird. When we got there, had 39 channels, including big 3, 2 hours later, nothing, 4 hour later, all came back. It is like there is a power source interring with signal somewhere outside the RV. I have never experienced this before and for awhile, we thought it was use and tried to problem solve but turned out it was in the air.
