This location was so nice and clean. The site we were on was perfect! The camp hosts were very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back in the near future.

I mean, our neighbors left their trash out and a bear dragged it over to our campsite to eat it at 2:30am. Otherwise, it was cool.

We loved this campground. Clean and well kept campsites and bathrooms. We were in campsites 35 and 36 and my kids (11, 9, and 7) loved exploring the woods and lake front. It was easy to for them to access (walk through the woods down a hill) for these sites, no big deal for us but good to know for families with toddlers. The Carters Lake Visitor center was such a fun surprise, it was a little nature center and beautiful views of the lake from the back. About a 10 minutes drive from the campground.

Well maintained roads and sites. Water access was less than desirable but adequate. The biggest issues was the bath house in our area was closed. It would have been nice to know that going in.

A lovely campground with each site having a great view! If you're towing the drive up and back down is not for the faint of heart, but the views are well worth it. We would recommend.

First time ever to be disappointed here. Not with the campground but that someone was allowed to come in not register and held up us from occupying our camp site till after 6:30 pm.

Site 20 is so beautiful BUT you must haul everything up and down a VERY steep hill about 1/4 mile. This is particularly difficult with firewood and cumbersome equipment. I would not recommend booking this site if you have small children or if you are elderly. This was our first time at Doll Mountain. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back but will book a different site next time. There are not bad views here. Clean, quite, and respectful campers. Overall a gem of a campground.

Lovely campground. Clean bathrooms with showers and hot water for washing hands. Site 49 is private and has a 360 view through the trees for sunsets and sunrises. Bring wood as it's a 30 min drive one way to Ellijay to buy any. (Foraging on site was good for a single night)

Clean, private site with a nice picnic table, firepit and deck nestled in the woods. Must drive or bike to beach. Close to a boat/kayak/canoe launch area. Peaceful and beautiful large lake with mountain views.
