Excellent COE campground with nice concrete pads which require no leveling. Campground volunteers constantly patrolling the campground.

Beautiful campground on a peninsula in Carters Lake. Nice shaded sites with plenty of space . Will certainly go back. Location also convenient to local wineries.

This is a nice campground, with many sites having filtered lake views. This time we stayed it site #39. I believe the stretch from 39 through 44 represent the best sites in this park, with the views getting better and better as you approach #44. There is limited lake access, however, since the sites are substantially above the level of the lake.

Great spot! Private, green, and plenty of room. Gravel driveway and spot, perfect for tents or RVs. A 7 minute walk to the boat put-in. No swimming spots anywhere near by. Can get to the lake through the woods if wanted.

THE HIKE UP & DOWN THE MOUNTAIN TO THE PRIMITIVE CAMP SITES IS A BIG DEAL, THERE SHOULD BE SOME KIND OF WARNING. PACKING GEAR IN & OUT WAS VERY DIFFICULT & UNEXPECTED.

RV campsite 46 and neighboring sites in that loop were beautiful; however spot 45 pad is very steep/ severely unlevel. Hookups were excellent. Picnic table and nice grill on each spot.
Trees are beautiful, but mostly block view of the lake on all these spots.
There are no trashcans on campsites, with one central dumpster location at the boatramp.
Only two bathhouses on the campground; one near spots 1-13, and one next to the boatramp.

We had site 8 and we discovered that behind campsite 10 was a great trail to the lake with and awesome swimming hole. An extra canopy is great as this site is not very shady out from your camper awning.
