Very nice campground. Views are amazing. Well-planned. Great facilities. Loved sitting on a bluff over the lake by the firepit.

Nice campground, particularly if you have a boat and want to get on the lake. On the downside, if you are not boating, and have kids, it's not as good. The sites and in fact the whole campground are fairly hilly, so not much open, flat space for the kids to play. There is a kid's playground, but it's fairly basic.
Also, the BBQ on our site was rusted and not usable. We were able to grill on the fire pit and then use same for campfire/smores/etc.

We stayed in site 20 and it was very private and beautiful. You have to walk ~1/4 mile down a steep rocky path to get to the site, so be prepared to carry all your stuff. We brought a wagon to help with heavier items like the cooler, but even that was difficult to get down and up. It was worth it for the view and privacy, but it was a lot of work. There are a bunch of trees for shade and hammocks and a gorgeous view of the lake. We had an amazing time!

We had an enjoyable experience at the campground during our most recent visit in September. The tent sites (we were at site 50) are well maintained and offer a good deal of space. During our summer stay, we brought our kids and used the boat ramp to put our kayaks in. We weren't able to find a swimming area, so I wouldn't recommend staying with young children unless you want to drive to a swimming area away from the campground. Lastly, the camp hosts during our stay would lock the gates promptly at 9pm. This would not usually be a problem; however, we had family events and went to dinner during a rainy day away from the camp and each night of our stay there was a stress to get back before 9pm which we didn't like. If you're not back by 9pm the camp hosts have you park at the beginning of the campground and walk into your site, which is quite a hike so I wouldn't recommend it.
