Very nice experience camping at Doll Mountain. Hiking, Visitor's center at the dam, fishing. All fun and above all very relaxing. The Corps of Engineers did a great job here.

This campground is one of our favorites. The lake is beautiful and the campground is family-oriented and quiet.
The only downside is how early the gate closes for the night.

Stayed 2 weeks at one of the tent only campsites (no electricity or hookups) and was fortunate NOT to have other campers close by for the majority of the time. So quiet and peaceful. HOWEVER, the volunteer hosts were extraordinary! Restrooms spotless and they routinely drove past daily and kinda checked on me as I was alone the majority of the time. Campground was very well maintained.
