The views are beautiful and the sites are very well maintained. It's typically a quiet place to camp, and the fishing and kayaking are superb! Not that you'll need it, but my cell phone service was good while there.

We love Woodring. We try to go in spring and fall. October is Apple season. Sorry Corp has decided to close earlier and open later. NOT a happy camper.

Beautiful campsite with access to the lake right behind our spot (001). No issues with the electric and bathrooms were clean and maintained. The beach and playground are currently closed due to COVID. We had a great experience - highly recommend!

From Atlanta, take I-75 north to Exit 293; follow Highway 411 north. Turn right on Highway 136, then left on old Highway 411. Turn right on Highway 282/76. Campground is located 4.5 miles off Highway 282.
