I always love camping at Woodring Branch. It is a beautiful campground, with gorgeous views of the lake. The sites give you a fair bit of privacy. And there ate water activities for any sport

Love this campground. Very disappointed they are shortening the 2020 season. We love this campground in the fall and would like to continue to camp in October.

it has always been a great place to camp but i hear it will only be open for 3 months instead of 7 if that is so it will be the hottest part of the year and when school is out and will make it hard to get a spot to camp in if they do that i will have to find another place to camp we have always liked it there and hope they don,t change it if they are going to change it will you please let me know

We had experienced problems before getting to Woodring and received so much support from the personnel there 1 I cannot praise this site and friendly people enough! Will definitely be back!

From Atlanta, take I-75 north to Exit 293; follow Highway 411 north. Turn right on Highway 136, then left on old Highway 411. Turn right on Highway 282/76. Campground is located 4.5 miles off Highway 282.
From Ellijay, GA, take Highway 282/76 west for 11 miles to the access road and follow signs to the campground.
