The campground is clean and really pleasant to stay at, being right on the edge of Blue Ridge Lake. My wife and I have a small teardrop camper, and though we had a regular pull-in spot reserved, the host allowed us to swap to tent site A, where we were able to park in the parking lot, detach our trailer, and push it into site A. It was perfect, and it made for a better experience. The only issue was the family next to us with screaming children. The campsites are fairly close together, so keep that in mind.

My original reservation of 5 nights had us moving once from one site to another. However, upon arrival the fabulous campground host informed us that a non-reservable site (#16) was empty and available if we'd like to take it. 16 has full hookups, a lot of privacy and a view of the lake. Plus you can stay for up to 14 days. We did opt to take it so we didn't have to change sites and the full hook ups are a huge plus. Our trailer is 26 foot and we had plenty of room. GREAT site. The loop we were on, sites 1-20 are all nice sites. The road is a little bit narrow but visibility is good. However, I would not recommend anyone besides tent campers or maybe small popups use sites 29 and up. One of our original sites was 30 and after seeing how challenging that area is, I'm so thankful we did not have to use it. We watched in horror as a very large motorhome tried to navigate that loop in the dark. There is a tight turn around at the end and I can only imagine how challenging it is to turn a big rig around there especially in the dark. The park is beautiful and very well maintained and the hosts were so helpful and nice. Before we left, we walked the park and made notes of the sites that we felt would be easy to get in and out of with our trailer, so next time we wouldn't have any concerns before we arrived.

We arrived and were greeted by a pleasant host and provided a map and a phone number to call for ice and firewood delivery directly to our site, can't beat that service! The campground was clean and well maintained as were the restrooms. The sites were separated nicely and we had a spacious site on the lake. The campground is conveniently located between Blue Ridge and Blairsville with day trips to apple orchards and waterfalls as well as scenic mountain vistas. Overall we were very pleased with the experience.

Love the campground and very clean bathrooms.
Wish sewer was available at every site. No WiFi or TV service available.

It was very nice and well kept up. Only issue was that they don’t allow golf carts. Not sure why as the campsite had plenty of their own. Beautiful view at the lake with the mountains in the background. Overall a great experience!

This was one of the nicest cleanest campgrounds we have ever stayed at. The shower house and restrooms were immaculate! The host was extremely friendly and outgoing.

The campground is very nice. The bath house is very clean and well kept. Our site, site 1 was not level at all. Most other sites were more level. Overall, would come back in a heartbeat, but would bring extra leveling blocks. Its close to Blue Ridge and the lake is really pretty. Host was very nice and helpful.

Campers are able to utilize the day use area for free, but if you have a vehicle parked in the day use parking lot then you have to pay the day use fee. You can be dropped off at the day use area and park at your campsite if you like. |
