Hostess was great. Despite some confusion (from old reviews) there is a very clean dump station. Main bath house is new, clean and bright. This is a cool forest on the banks of Lake Blue Ridge so don't expect manicured grass. Nice laid back vibe. Again hostess was very helpful.

Beautiful campsites that were clean and well maintained. Campsite A had the most stunning view of the sunrise over the lake. The bathrooms were always clean and the camp host were kind, responsive, and helpful.

When we arrived at the campground we were greeted by a guy that was either the maintenance guy or host. He walked down to myself and handed me a piece of paper and then said with an attitude, “you’re name?!” Told him my name and then he said those are the campground rules turn over on the back there is a number, call it if you need something. I asked him about firewood and if the bundles were fair good size. He said, “ I don’t know, it’s wood!” Then he left. We stayed here an entire week for vacation and it did rain the entire time we were there other than our last day. Overall the campground is nice. But the host definitely needs to be a lot more friendlier to guest and more helpful. Even when walking around or passing him on his golf cart, when we would wave he wouldn't wave back. The main bath house was very nice but the second bath house across from where we were staying was never cleaned the entire time we were there, bugs laying on the floor in the shower, and trash in the trash can piling up. This bathhouse could also use some refurbishment but it’s not bad, just older. Will we return, not sure unless there are much nicer camp host.

Beautiful park. Great location near Blue Ridge, GA. Clean, modern bath house. Large, well situated campsites.

We stayed two nights here and there was a very loud group of campers not far away. They made a lot of noise late into the night, both nights, and we were disappointed that the camp manager did nothing about it. This is not the first time this has happened when we've stayed at this campground.
It's a very nice place to camp when the other campers are considerate of their neighbors. Not sure if we'll come back again.

Quiet, peaceful, clean. Site 7 very large with nice view of lake and easy access for our kayak. Hope to return.

The original site we reserved ( first visit) was extremely unlevel site#10 .Park attendant noticed we had been working unsuccessfully to level RV and moved us. This park has some very nice sites for rv’s but if this is your first visit it would be worth you effort to visit

good campground hosts not the friendliest, road in terrible shape on lower side with the turn around, trees scraping the RV needs trimmed bad and holes every where, showers good clean bath houses

The facilities were very clean. Our camp site was excellent. Proximity of the beach is such a plus.

The walk-in campsites are all excellent, most are right on the lake with easy access to the water for kayaking and swimming. Campground manager is always on top of things and promptly delivers ice and firewood. Great place for a family trip or with friends to get out on the lake or just enjoy the views and our dogs love getting in the water. Recommend walking out on the peninsula to view the sunset. Probably my favorite campground I've ever stayed at.

Campers are able to utilize the day use area for free, but if you have a vehicle parked in the day use parking lot then you have to pay the day use fee. You can be dropped off at the day use area and park at your campsite if you like. |
