What Guests Are Saying
Springy Point campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained location with friendly hosts and clean restrooms. Many guests appreciate the proximity to the lake and the availability of amenities like showers and dishwashing stations. However, some sites are small and can be challenging for larger trailers, and there have been concerns about wasp nests and limited privacy between campsites.

Very hard to maneuver through both camp grounds. Most all the trees had scares on them from vehicles and trailers hitting them due to no room to make the turns. Beautiful swimming area.

Camp host was awesome and easy to work with. We had only booked for one night but liked the area so much that we asked if they had anyone cancel to please let us know. The next morning they came down and told us we could have another space for the rest of our trip. The beach area was clean, and the bike path was awesome to use. Thank you for having such a great area.

Our campsite was behind the bathroom and everyone walked through our campsite to get there. Nonexistent camp etiquette. People yelling, talking loudly, after 10pm. I don't feel the campsite we were charged for should have been a campsite. Also, there needs to be an emphasis on thinking of others in a public place like a campground . I pointed out to some folks that they were walking through our campsite and they ignored it. Unfortunately, in this day and age, courtesy and thoughtfulness need to be taught and emphasized more than ever. In general, courteous behaviors taken for granted in the past are not being taught..courteous campground behavior needs to be emphasized and enforced at the campground so all campers and visitors can enjoy the beautiful lake and potential recreational opportunities it provides.

Loved the lake and proximity to Sandpoint! However, I wish this site would separate RV and tent-only (or at least no generator) sites. Unfortunately the site we booked had little morning shade. But the lake was great and the site is well maintained!

Springy Point is very clean well maintained park. Nice beach for family and roped off sections for children. Everyone was quite at 10 pm. The only fall back at no fault of the park is yellow jackets. Bring some traps!

Loved this campground, so sad that the smoke from fires obscured distant views. However,:
1. Attentive camp hosts
2. An all around beautiful place
Having a 25" Class C I did need to wiggle into the first spot,, but that's ok, I needed the parking skill brush-up.
Thanks for a great stay!!
Brian.

Springy Point was a nice location. The beach was a great added perk that we took advantage of, and the sites were a decent size. However, our overall experience was definitely less than average due to the fact that the gates lock you in overnight and well past sunrise. It was light at 5:30 and we were ready to go, only to be locked inside for another hour and a half. I am sure this is posted online and somewhere around the campground, but NO ONE made sure we were aware of this. It seems horribly unsafe and honestly a hazard knowing we could not get out if there was an emergency. We tried to reach the camp host with no luck. We went to a movie the night before and got back right before 10 when they close the gates, so I don’t know what we would’ve done had the gates been closed. This really dampened our experience and we will not be returning to this site.

Our site (#8) was very poorly designed. Everyone in the campground seemed to think it was the official path to the bathrooms. They would walk between our tents, between the car and the tent, around the back of the site. I tried positioning the car differently to direct some of the flow. This worked a little but pushed others into the middle of our site. I never found a way to divert the folks walking through the backside. You don't get much privacy in a campground but this was a constant invasion of what space you had. If it were just a camper or two, a conversation or two, or little kids doing this, it would be one thing. But it was literally everyone and was constant. One lady even supervised herself finding that she was walking through the middle of our site. "Oh is this your site!! I'm so sorry"
