What Guests Are Saying
Springy Point campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained location with friendly hosts and clean restrooms. Many guests appreciate the proximity to the lake and the availability of amenities like showers and dishwashing stations. However, some sites are small and can be challenging for larger trailers, and there have been concerns about wasp nests and limited privacy between campsites.

Camp sites were pretty small and super dusty. They are also very close to a busy road, so the traffic wakes you up at night if you don't have earplugs. We went the middle of July and the yellow jackets were so bad you couldn’t cook or eat outside without having several swarming you. They would also hang out at the waters edge at the beach. We had a two year old grandson get stung there. It would be nice if traps were put up to help control the problem. The beach in general was nice though. It's shallow pretty far out so was great for all our grandkids. They loved it!

Sites are very small and very close. RV/trailer sites are so small and difficult to get into that they should only be classified as tent sites!
Garbage was overflowing by Saturday morning!

Women’s bathroom had a soiled diaper in the trash that almost made me vomit when I walked in. The sites are very small with the tables almost touching , we had site 19 on the birch loop for one night. The sites sit up on the side of a mountain so having no room made it feel even smaller. I would never stay in this campground again. The fee isn’t very expensive but I would rather boon dock than stay in Springy Point. The campground is very close to the road, the beach area is really small for the amount of people the campground can hold.

Our campsite along with others are extremely close to the road which was quite busy starting around 4am. The campsites are also very close together without much privacy. The picnic table had bacon grease spilled all over it, too, which wasn't a fun surprise. On the plus side it was a nicely shaded campground and the swimming area was decent.

Most sites very tight and on top of one another with no privacy and on top of that the campground was noisy bc no quiet hours enforced. Dogs were left unattended and barking for hours, because, again, no enforcement of their own rules. The worst was that area was on a fire ban due to red flag alert and ranger told me that absolutely no fires were allowed. Our neighbor had a campfire and the hosts just drove right by without a word. Huge safety concern was completely ignored.

We had an excellent time and loved our campsite. The only problem was that the site was not level enough for our tent. The camp host was friendly and helpful. We will definitely return! We would like to see at least a couple of sites be listed on a first come first serve basis for weekends.

Campsite was adequate size but access road terribly tight. Site was right on road with construction traffic. Worst campground we have stayed in.

Lots of gravel and dust. No good places to walk. Beach area small with dirt instead of sand. Water great. Shallow swim area roped off. Little kids love it. Women's shower not operational - out of order. Do not know about men's. Many staff members patrolled regularly so felt safe. Sites were quite tight. We were in a small 24' motorhome in space 26. Had we pulled to the rear we would have joined our neighbors but instead parked in front of the long driveway. In many other sites you are basically sharing with your neighbors.

Quiet, forested campground on lakeshore with clean restroom/shower facilities. Easy access to Sandpoint for restaurants/shopping. We rented bikes and kayaks in town at reasonable rates. Great experience in the Sandpoint area.
