What Guests Are Saying
Springy Point campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained location with friendly hosts and clean restrooms. Many guests appreciate the proximity to the lake and the availability of amenities like showers and dishwashing stations. However, some sites are small and can be challenging for larger trailers, and there have been concerns about wasp nests and limited privacy between campsites.

Beautiful camp with a great beach. Very pleasant and capable group of camp hosts. All the campsites are nice but there are some nice pullthroughs if you need that but also some really nice walkins right on the beach- the walk in is very short. Also only a few miles from Sandpoint along a very nice bikeway over the lake.

I made my reservation for a specific spot in early January for a spot in July. When we arrived, the campsite numbers had been changed and I had a totally different campsite than the one I originally reserved. The campground was full, so we were out of luck. Instead of my nice, shady wooded spot, we ended up in a very open area with no shade and right next to the main road. It was an awful site! I never received any notification and the camp host said the numbers were changed so late that they had to print paper numbers to put over the entrance sign which showed site directions. I look forward to camping all year and this year was a real disappointment!

Our family loves to camp at Springy Point!
We make it a yearly tradition. Our site is perfect and the campgrounds are well tended to. Camping at SP is a highlight of our summer!

I have been going to Springy Point for over 10 years. It appears that now they have 3 host sites that are taking up additional camper sites now. It is also not as well taken care of. With additional help you would assume a better and cleaner experience. The beach is neglected with branches/moss and other debris all over. The sand was barely filled from previous days (hit and miss on cleanliness).

We reserved the day use shelter for one of the days we were camping at Springy Point. Our experience both with camping and the day use shelter was wonderful. Great camping sites, clean (enough) bathrooms, and friendly and responsive camp host. We had a great time!

Pros: convenient location from highway 95, nice tall shade trees in camp, friendly camp host, bathrooms and showers, reasonably priced, beautiful river access, and good cell coverage. Cons: camp is along a VERY noisy road-- most motorists like to blast their exhaust pipes at all hours of the day/night. Plus there was very loud, obnoxious camp across from me & loud people in the middle of the night walking on the main road. Thus- didn't get much sleep while tent camping. If you have a trailer, the noise probably wouldn't be so bad.

Great facilities, ..newly graveled road keeps dust down.
Bathrooms and showers were well stocked and clean..Suggest signage to indicate that handicapped bathrooms be for those families who need it. Too many healthy young people making the bathrooms and showers dirty ?

It would be helpful if you could contact the camp host for more information.
