Lovely well maintained campground with a very welcoming staff. Lots of local attractions including St. Meinrad's Archabbey and the benedictine Monastery in Ferdinand. Both are impressive beautiful locations.
We were at site 23 and the only downside was that it had some slope and was a difficult back-in for a somewhat novice driver (90 degree approach with a narrow service road and deep ditches on both sides.) Most other sites were a bit more back in friendly.
Other wrinkle was that the main shower room was closed for remodeling during our stay. These things happen but it would have been helpful to know in advance since we chose our site based on its proximity to the shower house.

We were the only ones besides the host in the whole campground. Nice private spot near the bath house. Good water pressure in the showers. Definitely a nice spot.

Site 31 was tight and uphill. Just stayed one night. Dump station was down on main highway 2 miles and up in the woods on left side before prison.

My husband and I are full-time travelers and have been to all 50 states. This is the only place that made us pay for our motorcycle when we took it out of the toy hauler. Every other place whether it be government or private has told us that they do not care about the motorcycle and have never charged us for it. The older woman at the gate who worked the morning shift was not very friendly. She was totally completely by the book and it gave us a bad taste for this campground. We were there most of the time by ourselves and it was very quiet. For a 12 days day stay we ended up paying more than we have ever paid at any State park. Pretty sure we will not go back.

We visited Indian-Celina Lake in early August. We camped on the Soth Loop Site #24, the park was well maintained and the shower house was clean. There were only a few campers there and the park was very peaceful as it usually is. Which is one of the reasons we enjoy going there. We will be back.
