What Guests Are Saying
Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

Stayed in slot 19 next to the river.
Very nice and spacious, across from camp host assistant.
The only draw back was all the bugs and mosquitoes.

Howell Station is a great place to camp. Beautiful. Bike trails are awesome.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the cell service is terrible. Almost non existent.

Howell Station is a favorite of ours. Enjoy the paved bike path. Be sure to visit Pella's bakeries and Ulrich meat market on Franklin Street, and Pella's Historical Village. You don't want to miss the Tulip Festival the first weekend in May.
