Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

The campground and the bike trails are great and we really like Pella! Phone service is very limited.

Excellent camp ground. Well maintained shower/toilet facilities and lots of paved trails to walk or ride on.

The site was very clean and level. There was some noise from the road close to our site. We were across from the bathrooms/showers, and people were driving in and using the facilities in the middle of the night.

The park is very nice. Trees need to be trimmed throughout the park. Fire pits are not cleaned very often.

The campsite and the campground were well-maintained and overall, excellent. However, no maps were available when I arrived and the people in my party who did get maps of the campground said that the SHOWER HOUSES and WATER POINTS were NOT on on the map! These are the 2 things most campers are concerned about!

Lovely and quiet. Great biking and walking paths!
The only negative is lack of cell phone connectivity.

We enjoyed the spacious campsites and the clean restrooms. It is also a great place to bike with the trail close by.

Hosts are great. Greeted while filling water. Site was not hard to get level. Showers were cleaned and looking very well maintained. Cell coverage was not great but that did not take away from a great experience. Will definitely be looking forward to the next time.
