What Guests Are Saying
Howell Station is a highly praised campground known for its spacious, clean sites and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a favorite for families. Campers enjoy the quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and numerous recreational opportunities, including biking and wildlife watching. Some minor improvements are suggested, like better Wi-Fi and complete hookups, but overall, visitors have had great experiences and plan to return.

The campground is kept very clean, and the grass is kept mowed the only problem I have is you can't sit outside because the bugs will carry you away, so you have to stay in your camper most of the time. Something needs to be done about the bugs.

Wow! It was my most favorite places! Camping facilities were clean, large and private. If it had direct sewer hookup at our site it would have been great but was no issue at their easy drive thru dump
Station! Absolutely loved the bike trails. Well maintained and hard surfaced. Enjoyed being able to
Bike to Pella, definitely will be back! Such a very pleasant helpful staff, kudos to their happy welcoming and so helpful staff! Helped with our site registration as seniors to get discount with our lifetime Sr card for parks. Thankyou!!

Beautiful park right on the lake. Big campsites, half bridge you can walk out on to look at the lake. Nice spots to walk down to fish. Very quiet campground and beautiful and we will definitely go back! We also drove in to Pella and went to a bakery that had such good stuff, donuts, rolls, breads, you name it! 5 stars from us for bakery and campground!

The sites have plenty of green space and aren’t crowded together.
