Our favorite campground. Always clean and well maintained. Lots to do with great nature trails, fishing, playgrounds and great camping spots

Melvern Lake is a beautiful place to camp. Sites are nicely spaced and several back up to lake. Restrooms have showers too and are spotless. Camped on our way to Iowa and liked it so much we planned our trip back so we could stop there again.

Very pleased that Osage county is home to this lake & campground. The walking trail was very well maintained and acessible. Will use the trail in the future.

The Melvern Outlet Campground is fantastic. It's always clean, quiet, and full of friendly people. The staff are attentive, and sheriffs and park rangers drive through often. Everyone I talk to says that it's the best campground around.

Love Melvern Lake Outlet C-Loop. Beautiful old trees, privacy, spacious sites, nice trails & playground equipment. Unfortunately, because it's so nice, it's hard to get a spot on the water.

Great weather semi level sites amenities worked. The only thing wrong were sharp rocks. Also a branch from a tree fell on a camper. The rangers need to take better care of the area. They have also terminated a tree since the last time I was there.
