What Guests Are Saying
Lucas Park is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and clean restrooms and showers. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent hiking and fishing opportunities. While some noted issues with water availability and a high presence of rangers, overall experiences are positive, with many eager to return for future visits.

Lucas is a good place to stay and the lady taking care of the place is super nice and helpful. We had an issue with the neighbor literally having 12 dogs and it was taken care of quickly. Super cool place!!

Need to update pictures of the campsites along the shoreline. We were very disappointed to find our campsite without any trees and shade as pictured on the website. Will camp in a different site next time. Just hope the pictures are accurate.

We had some electrical problems and the volunteers put in a call to the Corp and it was taken care of right away. The volunteers at Lucas Park are the best and the guy who fixed our electrical at the lake was awesome. I do wish they were able to install 50 amp plugs at this park beyond the 7 or 8 that are always booked. Most RVs nowadays need more than 30 amp.

Campsite 25 in Lucas park used to be one of the best campsites in the park. Pull through sight, waterfront, and right on the beach. Now there is no beach and the entire shoreline and campsite is rock. Campsites across the road and away from the water are still ok, but access to the water sucks.
