What Guests Are Saying
Lucas Park is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and clean restrooms and showers. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent hiking and fishing opportunities. While some noted issues with water availability and a high presence of rangers, overall experiences are positive, with many eager to return for future visits.

Absolutely love this loop at Lucas Park. Site 32 is a long and narrow site. We have a 30 ft keystone. The site was long enough, but the slope from front to back meant that even with the front 2 tires on the gravel and being back as far as we could go, the tongue jack was almost maxed out to be level. Site 32 has a lot of grassy space. However, being at the curve of the loop and across from the bath and shower house, if people cutting through your site or close to the edge of your site bothers you then I would recommend a different site.

My stay was great, but I was upset that the campsite below me #29 had extra people staying with them in a tent. They took the table from my site and refused to return it. Very frustrating as we literally had no where to make meals and eat. We had a family member have a medical emergency and the Park Rangers were wonderful!

This was our first time to the lake and it was a great experience. Camp ground we stayed in looked newer. Loved the set up at Lucas Park. The sites faced the lake and are staggered to not disrupt everyone's views which was awesome. Campsites are also very large. Camp hosts were super helpful.

Close to water. Nice clean site. Bathrooms close by and maintained. Showers were too far away to be of use so we took a swim instead.

It was a windy few days but otherwise a great location. Not far from the banks of the water.

Clean restrooms, great showers. Disappointed the campground didn't sell firewood.
