What Guests Are Saying
Lucas Park is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and clean restrooms and showers. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent hiking and fishing opportunities. While some noted issues with water availability and a high presence of rangers, overall experiences are positive, with many eager to return for future visits.

We love staying at Lucas Park. The park volunteers Warren and Shirley are very friendly and helpful. The new custodian was very thorough, the shower houses were very clean and stocked accordingly. 100% recommend!

We loved this campground!! This was our third stop on our cross country road trip and one of our absolute favorite campgrounds. You are definitely close to your neighbors, but the gorgeous views make up for it. We were able to swim while we waited for our check in time, and then were also able to swim right off our site. The camp host was soooo nice and we had a great conversation with her. Highly recommend!

Easy access from the interstate but a great escape from congestion. Nice facility with showers and bath with a nice lake. Not busy during my visit. Dog friendly with welcoming hosts.
