What Guests Are Saying
Lucas Park is praised for its beautiful scenery, well-maintained facilities, and clean restrooms and showers. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent hiking and fishing opportunities. While some noted issues with water availability and a high presence of rangers, overall experiences are positive, with many eager to return for future visits.

Great place to spend some family time. Clean, not to cramped with campers and tents on top of each other. Camp hosts are always fantastic. Plus facilities are clean.

We had a great time. Park attendants and janitorial staff were pleasant and welcoming. Bathhouse was kept clean. We were out for an entire week.

The water is clear and beautiful. The campsite was easy to level which was awesome since my hubby had recently had a total knee replacement! The shower house was nice and could accommodate a number of campers. The camp hosts are kind and friendly!

That lake was perfect all week. There was a cool breeze and no white caps. You couldn’t have asked for better weather.

We love camping at Lucas Park. We come every June for our Kansas-Nebraska Family Camp Out. This year we had 26 six of us. With 9 campers & 2 tents. It is one of my 90-year-old uncles highlights of the year that he gets to camp with our family at Wilson Lake/Lucas Park.
