What Guests Are Saying
Zilpo Campground offers beautiful, secluded sites with excellent access to the lake, making it a great destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The campground is well-maintained, with clean restrooms and friendly staff, although some services like water access and store items may be limited. While noise from other campers can be an issue, many visitors appreciate the serene environment and recommend Zilpo for its scenic beauty and enjoyable activities.

Clean and very well maintained National park. Campsites are also well maintained and good locations. Wish they would update the campground maps with water spigot locations for easier to find working ones. One of my favorite parks so far to have visited. Will be back.

Bathrooms in H loop were horrible. Visited other restrooms in the park and they were decent. Won't be back.

Great place to camp, my only complaint is the showers, not enough shower stalls for the number of campers, and the stalls are designed weird that its very hard to not get water splashing on your dry closes do to the open shower door design, also there was virtually no hot water, otherwise loved it.

Really well kept and quiet. We had site 34. A lot of space between the large sites. I would say only about 30% of the the sites have electric. Camp hosts were very helpful and always checking to see if you needed anything. We were there in April and park personnel informed us of a momma bear and her cubs were camping also. Never saw them but the campground is 355 acres. We plan on going back next year!

We enjoyed this trip so much! The campground is clean and well taken care of. The campground host came by daily to ask if we needed anything. We like to hike and Twin Knobs is better for that, but I think Zilpo's campsites and bathrooms are better. There was hot water! There is a beach and boat ramp nearby and it was a great walk with the dogs. It wasn't very crowded because of the time of year. We'll definitely be back!

Good trip, first time in countless years that all of the camp site loops were open. Excited for the potential improvements to getting the store back open and reopening the campground walking trail that has been in disrepair and unwalkable for the last ten years or so
