The restrooms were really bad. There was no flush and there were all mosquitoes in the restrooms. We all got sick after coming from the camping at the island. I sincerely request to change this and have actual restrooms.

We arrived during a major storm with 50MPH gust. All the tent campers packed up and left. Lots of sand drifts in some campsites but #23 was a grassy campsite behind a dune. The beach was blown clean and even shells were hard to find. Memoriable and enjoyable experience.

Weather was horrible. Rainy, very windy so it's hard to rate the park. However, one of the paths in our loop #2 to the beach was not even visible. And the camp sites were almost completely covered in sand. Perhaps the host could make a better effort in clearing off the pads for campers.

Large areas, picnic table and fire rings. Areas nearby (across the bridge) for supplies and eateries. Convenient to Ocean City and other shore points.

Campground was well managed. Sites are well maintained.
Would recommend possible additional lighting options for showers. Maybe larger skylights to let more natural light into facility without adding electrical lighting.

Was just so thrilled to see so many horses and to have them come right through our camp site. Loved the sight we had. Nice size felt very private. Would definitely recommend.

The rangers were extremely helpful and resolved/answered any requests or questions we had during our trip. Our trip would have been very different without their assistance.

I cannot wait to camp again at Assateague. Our site, protected by dunes, made us feel we were the only folks around. Not the usual "here we all are together in a parking lot" mobile home experience. I highly recommend this beautiful national park as a destination.
