Lovely campgrounds. Clean and well-lit bathrooms and showers. Some phone reception. A quick ride into town if you forget something. Lots of scenic trails. Rangers were helpful when I locked myself out of my car.

Had a lovely time! Cabins are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are convenient and well maintained. Rangers and park host were awesome: friendly and helpful (particularly for someone new to camping like me!)
Highly recommend! (And plan to camp again when the pool is open)

The camp host and rangers were really friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and the grounds well kept. The area is beautiful and there are not so many cabins as to be crowded.

Our cabin had nothing but screens on the windows, and the breeze blew through. It was very cold and the rules ban heaters. We froze all night.

I think the windows should all be upgrade to glass -- they actually had glass in the 1930s, so it wouldn't violate Historic Preservation on the '30s cabins, which otherwise have likely had no improvement since then. We asked an learned that only maybe 3 cabins have glass windows all around. Glass windows would be a small change that'd make the cabins habitable in chilly weather, since they're open till 10/30.

The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The site should mention you can't park at your cabin and are only allowed to drive to it twice. Once to unload and once to load. You wouldn't think its a big thing but its a very steep climb to the cars. It was an inconvenience that other campers and myself shared. and inside cabin photos would be nice too. Other than the lack of info before hand everything was wonderful. cool temps, nice people, beautiful scenery.

Loved it here. The cabins are so adorable with plenty of space. Outlets at the bed. Picnic table and firepit ring outside are well kept and maintained. Although there's no wifi, I had a great connection with my own internet. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and well lit. The only negative is that you're not allowed to park at the cabin. You can load and unload at the cabin but must park in the parking lots at the bottom of the hill. I would definitely come back again.

Cabins were rustic and more than adequate. The rest areas and grounds were well maintained. This is a terrific place to stay when touring some of the precious civil war sites in the area (South Mountain, Antietam, Gettysburg ). Rangers we’re very personable.

Nice pool, free firewood. the cabin was very dirty, a lot of spider webs. They said keep the food inside the cabin because there is bears, but because I was keeping the food in the cabin, 2 rats got into the cabin in the middle of the night, I has to throw away the food.
It will also be nice if you could do the check-in before 3pm. 3 pm is too late when you are looking to enjoy the whole day there,

This camp was a great spot to have a family reunion. The dining hall is a wonderful place to gather for games, meals, kids projects, puzzle-building, and more. The renovated pool is great. The staff at Misty Mount were very helpful and quickly responded to any questions or issues we had.
