Nice stay. Sites were nestled in the woods, separate, private fire pit & picnic table down a short trail. Individual trails leading to a clean shower house. Only downside was o shelves to place soap/ shampoo in showers.

Excellent camp ground. Sites are large, level and newer blacktop. Showerhouses and bathrooms are nice.

Still will be our favorite sweet escape. We've been coming to the Platte for over 18 years.
I made sure to thank the staff and officers for keeping the campground clean and safe.
Can't wait to come back next year.
Thank you :)

This was our 1st visit to Platte River & the campground. The campground was incredible. Smooth easy check- in clean grounds & facilities. Spacious sites. Hiking trails to Lake Michigan, kayaking & relaxing on the beach. We cannot wait to make another trip to explore even more of the area.

Great campground. Clean bathrooms and showers. We loved how quiet it is, since generators are not allowed. Very nice 3/4 mile trail hike to a secluded beach. Pro Tip: take this path at night to look at the stars. You won't be disappointed.
