The shower and restroom facilities are well maintained. Though there are a lot of fellow campers, there was not excessive noise and public areas were very clean.

I have stayed at Platte River Campground five times - it is my favorite place to camp. So much to do in the area (hiking, beaches, cycling, paddling, towns, the scenic drive...), and the campground is peaceful with private sites and clean bathrooms/showers and dishwashing stations, even for the walk-in sites.

Platte River Campground is a wonderful place to camp. We have a tent and camp in a non-electric site. The sites are well maintained, as well as the bathrooms. I can't thank the employees of PRC enough for their hard work on making this campground one of my favorites. We keep coming back often. I have met people who have been camping here for 30 years. I think that's a testimony on how this campground is loved!
