Perfect campsite with good spacing for privacy. Infrastructure is in excellent shape. We did visit the remaining bay furnace within walking distance of the campsite. No issue with the dump station or potable water fill. Picnic area overlooks Lake Superior.

Great experience, perfect spot to be to visit the national park, bathrooms well kept, campsite had lots of tree to be slightly isolated from other campsites. An ideal camping spot!

There was no proper bathroom, only an outhouse. Also, nobody was there to check us in, so we really fumbled around for a minute. No Wi-Fi, and the water was in a discreet place, but we didn’t go looking too hard, so I guess that was our bad. Wouldn’t recommend.

Wonderful small campground. My site had direct access to Lake Superior. Nice swimming beach, but bring water shoes for the rocks.

We had a perfect week at Bay Furnace over the Fourth. We were able to park our 29 foot trailer with no issues on lot 13. Access to the lake and nothing to the direct left of us but Hiawatha State Forest. The grounds and rest rooms are clean and well taken care of. We look forward to next years camp at Bay Furnace.
