Great campsite. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. Make sure you go to town for the Friday fish fry at the Moose. It's a fund raiser and the food was excellent. It's like a religion up here, and they're very devout. Bruno's Run was fun on a mountain bike. Didn't do the whole trail, just a couple miles. Be aware there is no RV dump station here or at Wide Waters. You have to drive a ways to get to a NF campground that has one, if you need to dump. Deer flies and horse flies were a little pesky at times. Not unbearable by any means. Very few skeeters. No luck on the walleye fishing. I don't ever recall having to remove a night crawler from a hook when I was done fishing. Usually something will eat it. Not this trip. Saw plenty of decent sized fish and got bit off once. Probably a pike. We always look forward to going to Pete's Lake.

Petes Lake is the best! Big private wooded sites, nice firepits with cooking grates, good non-stinky bathroom facilities, drinking water available and sites are spotless!

Very nice campground. Fall camping is nice but we got pretty wet. Still a great getaway. Next time we'll stay longer.
