I love this little campground. Quiet and tucked away with access to the Indian River and the chain of lakes. It also sits on one of the best biking trails in the UP.

We liked it a lot, but wished the fishing was better.

The campground is just far enough out of town where you don't feel like you are packed in with all the other campers. There is trees that separate sites and every single bathroom at the campground was CLEAN. The hosts were so friendly. There is a boat launch and other small lakes around to fish or relax and enjoy the view. The gps may tell you to take a different route that involves all the back trails to the campground but you can take the main road right to it. We will be making this an annual trip!

Beautiful quiet camping spot in the Hiawatha National Forest on Michigan's upper peninsula. Our spot was giant and somewhat isolated from adjoining spots. (Which is to say some tree cover to the left and the right of the spot). Pit toilets, clean and we'll maintained. Access to fresh drinking water. Well situated with good access to a variety of hikes, paddle sports, fishing and biking. There's a general store within a couple of miles or less.
