Very nice site. About 3-4 minutes walk from parking lot. Good river access for canoe or obtaining water. There is a latrine between 60 and 61 up on the hill. We had no neighbors in late September.
Do not go off of site location on Google Maps, this makes it look closer to the day use parking area off of Cooke Dam Rd than it actually is.

Fun weekend at site 004. The river access was great, particularily if you wanted to bring a kayak or canoe. Definetly see more people though than other sites. 5 or 6 cars came down to turn around in our site since the two track ends there. Lots of canoes and kayaks and people drifting fishing in front of the campsite. Loggers on the two track weren't too disruptive. Bummed that my kids had to listen to some folks dropping f bombs and blasting heavy metal on the river right in front of our site fishing but it is what it is. Overall great time.

Good but not great. Short little walkway down to the water to see it, but this site does not have a great view because it’s mostly trees in front of the water. It is a very large site; however, the fire pit is located right next to your neighboring campsite. So, you can hear and see everything when you want to sit next to your fire. I’m not sure why they put the fire pit right next to the other campsite. There is hardly any grass, so you would want to bring a mat to not drag so much dirt into your tent or camper. There are many more comfortable campsites at Sawmill Point.

Very nice and it’s spaced out from the other campers very close to the water

Loved it!! A beautiful site with good access from the water, I would definitely return. Future users- please take out your own trash, if you got it there you can get it back out.

Site was freshly raked and clean. Steps down to the river are much appreciated. Makes launching kayaks much easier. Improvements have been made to the access road. Nice site.

Some boat in river sites have the site markers “hidden” and spots can be easily passed. Also, their should be some site checks. Myself, along with 2 others along the river had their reserved sites taken by others non-paying. A group had to travel 6+ additional miles due to it.

Awesome camping - awesome fishing! From waking up to the loons to the million stars in the night sky the experience is hard to beat! Wish more people would practice Leave No Trace camping but I suppose some are used to having others clean up after them. Other than that minor annoyance would highly recommend!!!
