Couldn't ask for a better place to enjoy the quiet vibrancy of fall! This place is a hidden gem in the heart of lower MI!

Campsite 82D is one of the most beautiful sites in the lower peninsula, and is booked most days of the year it seems. My 1st time in June it was so beautiful and peaceful. My 2nd time in October, the previous campsite reservists cleaned up well, but left their dog's feces in the middle of the campsite which we stepped in. Aside from that the views were just as nice aa the 1st time seeing it and even more peaceful. Overall my new favorite campsite, which is about an hour and a half away from my house.

A few planes cut the silence every once in a while but sites are very spread out. All in all a GREAT experience.

Love the campsites here just as they are, just wish other campers would learn the rules. Bury your damn toilet paper, stop cutting live trees and walk the campsite before you leave and pack your trash out. Previous users failed at all 3 left us egg shells and trash all over and brought coons in as a result. Lots of downed and dead trees in the area, learn how to camp or stay at KOA.
