This is a must stay campgrounds it's close to so many things to do at the U P you will never get bored the only thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars is that us to Highway is right next to the campgrounds and it's very loud other than that it's the perfect Campground

All around a great campground. Especially enjoyed the easy access to beach area,kind of like having your own private beach.

Nice sites, clean toilets and a beautiful beach. The only downside is the noise from Highway 2. Still a great place

The beach was beautiful. With a campsite above the dunes it felt like we had our own private beach. Great for relaxing and spending time at the beach.

On a positive note, the beach was beautiful and the campsite was nice and clean. Campground was easily accessed from route 2 but although the map on recreation.gov indicated that sites were on the water side of the camp road, over half the sites are up against route 2. Road traffic was very loud. The water available in the campground smelled like lake water.

We didn't realize, and the web-site didn't show, that the sites are 2 level. Our 19 foot trailer barely fit in the spot near the road and then there were at least 20 steps up to where the picnic table and fire pit were.
