What Guests Are Saying
Voyageurs National Park offers stunning scenery, spacious and well-maintained campsites, and a variety of wildlife sightings, making it a fantastic destination for camping. The reservation system is convenient, though some users find it cumbersome and prefer the old method of finding campsites. Despite minor inconveniences like overgrown trails and occasional maintenance issues, visitors report enjoyable experiences and express eagerness to return.

Would have been nice if the word spread about campfires being allowed on 9/3/21

When picking reservations for four nights, the site kicked me out after 3 reservations making it look like I was trying to stay in two different places on the same night. I went back in to the reservation site and was, of course, was charged another $10 usage fee. I reserved the fourth night and an employee at VNP helped me get the fee taken off. But, the reservation ended up for the night after I needed it. I was told that the browser I used - Safari, didn't always work well with your site.
We did have an excellent canoe trip from Crane Lake to Kabetogama and didn't have a place to stay on that 4th night. It was Labor Day weekend and all nearby sites were occupied. Our drivers then picked us up at one of the resorts and we cut our trip short.
I also tried to cancel my reservation for the night we didn't use and was unable to find a way to do this on your site.
If not all browsers work well with your site, a message to users regarding which browsers to use would be very helpful. Thanks!

Was able to book the campsite easily but when it was time to go I could not print my permit. The permit usually becomes printable the week of the reservation. I ended up printing a screen shot of my reservation to display at the camp site.

We enjoyed staying at McManus Island. The weather was beautiful and the campsite is wonderful. We have been going to Voyagers yearly since 1995 and really enjoy the quiet and the beauty. Our family has grown and now our grandkids come also. The Rock Garden is something everyone should see and same with Kettle Falls Inn (great ice cream spot). It is a place to go for family time without electronics.

Saw more bears than people during our week of backcountry camping in Voyageurs National Park! Usually BWCA folks, we were pleasantly surprised at the solitude, opportunities to see wildlife, and ability to canoe the inland lakes. We will be back!!
