Hernando Point Campground offers a charming escape with spacious, clean sites and beautiful views, especially along the river. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained facilities, and the friendly staff, making it a great spot for families and RV owners. While the lake is currently dry due to repairs, visitors still enjoy outdoor activities like walking and fishing in the pond, and they look forward to future improvements.

The park was pretty but our site (44) had a steep drop off as we parked the motor home. There wasn’t a good flat area to set up chairs outside. My brother was in site 45 and the picnic table was on the sewer side of his RV and it was very difficult for him to park due to the road having a steep drop off.

My wife and I love this spot Lot #50. It will be so pretty when the dam is fixed and the water is let back in. We will be back !

We love camping at Hernando Point. We aren’t “water people”, so not having water doesn’t bother us. It’s close to Memphis & we go a lot more now. Highly recommend .

Campground needs cleaned up and some maintenance done to the sites! Picked up a grocery bag of trash at our site. There was a large open top dumpster that you couldn't reach to put trash in and was overflowed all the way around. Only saw the Park Ranger after several complaints about a camper with 6 barking dogs!!! Never saw the camp hosts! There was a heavy rain that flooded our fire ring (so no camp fire fir a couple days) and many of the surrounding sites. We would not return to this campground.
