Overall, not a bad place to stay. It would have been nice to know that the lake has been drained due to a problem with the dam. All those pretty lake views in the pictures are not there right now. In the mens' showers there needs to be a better shower curtain solution -- the curtains are hung too high so that the water goes everywhere and out onto the floor in the dressing part of the stalls. If the curtains were lower the water has a better chance of staying inside the shower. Then, dressing would be a lot easier and dryer.
The restroom area was kept nice and clean which was appreciated. Again, not a bad place to stay. Quiet, and a good place to camp out for a few nights.

Had a bad 30A breaker at my site! The next morning while having my coffee the Ranger drove through and i told him about it! In a couple hours the Electrician was there and changed it! They are on top of things , I expected to be using the 110 outlet the whole time i was there! Thank you for taking care of business!

Beautiful, serene park. Nice, clean camping spots and restrooms/showers. Even thought the lake is drained, the remaining landscape is a beautiful prairie. We also camped below an Eagle’s nest and the nesting pair arrived as we prepared to leave.

Was disappointed with the size of the site. Very narrow and the septic connection was a long distance from the water and electric connection, up at the front of the site. Would have needed a 30 ft hose to connect.
Could not find a host or anyone there to check in and have a car moved off our site that someone had just parked there. Waited for 35 min before owner came back and moved it.
