Hernando Point Campground offers a charming escape with spacious, clean sites and beautiful views, especially along the river. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained facilities, and the friendly staff, making it a great spot for families and RV owners. Little shade, water at the site was dirty looking, there was no where to pull the boat in aside from the dock itself.

Electric failure in campground. Ran generator for 11 hours. Left two days early.

Appreciate the efforts the COE made to re-open the CG. However, many sites have no ground cover and are very muddy. We couldn’t sit outside or use grill or fire pit. We stayed in site 48; while dumping tanks sewage began flowing out of the septic tank from the manhole between our site and the rig next to us. Recommend, if possible, you drive through the park to look at potential sites before reserving as some sites fared better than others during the tornado.

Standing water, grass too high could not use picnic tables, large ant hills around water source. Bath houses fully air conditioned (great).

We were at site 25 and that side of the park several electrical issues. Not just ours but that row.

Grounds are. Muddy since installation of new sewer. Grass needs cutting where there is grass. Will be a grat park someday.

Very disappointing. Muddy in lots of areas, looks like some utility construction is underway.

Well, campground not very well kept- grass is grown up, standing water everywhere, limbs down, drainage issues. SOMEONE WAS IN OUR RESERVED SPOT.(that we paid for weeks before reservation). No one will answer the phone to accommodate the issue.

Nice park full hookups. It is still growing back from the tornado but a nice place though with super nice people camping everywhere around you!
