Hernando Point Campground offers a charming escape with spacious, clean sites and beautiful views, especially along the river. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained facilities, and the friendly staff, making it a great spot for families and RV owners. They’re still under construction at this campground. Dump trucks drove by every ten minutes, our water was not working for a couple of hours because they had to cut it off to work on something. Also, men working on a fence ON OUR CAMPSITE while we were there. Wait six months and then try this campground IMO.

Good campground, apparently just reopened after a tornado 2 years ago. Added sewer always a bonus. Issues still being worked out in public restrooms, overall quiet and a good camoground

This was our third visit to Arkabutla lake and first time at Hernando point. We love the facilities at both the South Abutment campground and Hernando point.

Beautiful lakeside setting. Safe. Nice neighbors. Full hookups. Wide site. about 4 miles to small beer and hot-dog store. It's about ten or twelve back to Hernando. Kudzu heaven. I would have had a fabulous time if it hadn't rained for three days straight. West of the 55. Go all the way downtown and turn Left at the courthouse. Follow the signs. Turn Right when you get to the little beer store with the little worn brown point sign.

We love this campground. All the nice shade trees & beautiful lake. Can’t wait for all sites to get full hook ups! Convenient to Hernando, MS for groceries or restaurants.

The sites at Hernando Point are well maintained and so are the facilities. The bathrooms and shower were clean and well stocked. I've been to Hernando Point several times and it is one of my favorites.

We are newbies to camper with a small travel trailer. This location is close to where we live and when the partner has to work 5 1/2 days a week, it's convenient location for him to drive to work. I like the sites that have large spaces between them. I love going to the Farmers Market in Hernando on Saturday mornings. We've never had a bad experience at Hernando Point.
