Grounds are. Muddy since installation of new sewer. Grass needs cutting where there is grass. Will be a grat park someday.

Very disappointing. Muddy in lots of areas, looks like some utility construction is underway.

Well, campground not very well kept- grass is grown up, standing water everywhere, limbs down, drainage issues. SOMEONE WAS IN OUR RESERVED SPOT.(that we paid for weeks before reservation). No one will answer the phone to accommodate the issue.

Nice park full hookups. It is still growing back from the tornado but a nice place though with super nice people camping everywhere around you!

I definitely enjoyed my 10 day camping experience at Hernando’s point. I only had one issue and it was I could not get cell service the entire time unless I drove all the way to Highway 51. I have T-Mobile and I don’t know if that had anything to do with it because some of the other campers said they had other cell providers and had no issue. But that is not a problem of Hernando point it’s a great place to camp

The grass was tall and some areas of the ground was rough, but I understand it is alot of work to clean up after construction. I am very glad the camp ground is open. It’s one of our favorites

Nice campground with full hookups. Our spot was ok. Not much of a patio space but overall it was good. For how wet it was the bugs were very minimum. Went into Hernando one day and had some amazing ice cream and Area 51 Ice Cream…a must go!!

Beach closed no notification on website.
Dirt work and high grass made tent camping extremely difficult.

The site we reserved was pure mud. No grass what so ever. The sites that did have grass was overgrown and not cut. You couldn’t even get in the lake if you didn’t have life jackets. I usd to camp here all the time in my 20s. If they would’ve let us know you couldn’t get in the water we would have gone to Sardis. We drovefrom Florida to see family,
