We love camping at Piney Grove . Have always been really pleased with our site . But this trip was somewhat disappointing. the site was not very clean. There were lots of leaves piled up and rotten and the site is in desperate need for some more gravel. We stayed at site #54 .The side walks in the swimming area need some attention as well.

Had a good time other than some inconsiderate campers in the circle (we were on 135) blocking the road with their cars and trucks. They were having a shrimp boil in the covered area where the picnic tables were. We left early and could barely get our camper out. They also let some water that they were using to wash the shrimp overflow and run down onto spot 134 where my brother-in-law was. It ruined their mat that they keep in front of their camper. The park ranger drove through the area but didn't stop to make them clear the traffic.

We love Piney Grove! Things are kept in good order, the restrooms and the grounds are clean, and the hosts are friendly and competent.

Bad light in bath house...smells like pee...and poison oak in site.
