I just love this place. Can’t wait to go back. Private spaces and friendly people. Love being close to the water.

I enjoyed my stay at Piney Grove campground and plan to stay there again.
While I was in the area, I toured and explored the other facilities and recreation areas around Bay Springs lake. I noticed that the area was under utilized. Also, probably due to lack of funding many of the facilities are not being maintained as well as I wish they were.

Love the park. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful . Bath house was clean but could use an upgrade.

Had a pleasant time enjoying the water and campsite until the air conditioning quit on us. It was too hot to stay without air. We had to leave early. The gate keepers were kind and considerate.
Sure wish the Core of Engineers could add sewer lines. It would make it 💯 % better.
Thanks for the stay.

Piney Grove is a nice campground with plenty of things to do with the kids including walking trails, basketball courts, a playground and during the summer months there is beach area to cool off in. We stayed on sites 121 & 122 and really enjoyed how the grilling and picnic area is right by the water on site 122. The only complaints we would have is with the bath house. There needs to be shower curtains to kinda try to help keep the water out of the dressing part. Other than that no complaints and always love visiting the that campground with our family and friends!
